What are PROTRADE Dollars (PT$)?
PROTRADE Dollars (PT$) are fake money that make up the currency you trade in on the PROTRADE market. Upon registration, every trader is given $5,000 PROTRADE Dollars (PT$) to start trading with (for free). Traders can then use their PROTRADE Dollars (PT$) to cash out for Rewards (cool prizes). What is a sports stock market?
Our sports stock market is a place to buy and sell shares of your favorite players much like you buy shares of companies on the financial markets - except it's free and there's no risk.
What is buy/sell pressure?
Market pressure (or Buy/Sell pressure) is what impacts a player's price. Player prices move up and down based on buy and sell activity, much like the stock market. The more a player is bought, the more his price goes up. The more he is sold, the more his price falls.
What is an IPO?
An IPO is an Initial Public Offering -- the first shares made available for sale on the market.
How much does it cost to play?
Nothing - there is no charge. PROTRADE makes money from selling advertising and distributing our content to other sites.
Can I sell my players at any time?
Yes. Under normal market conditions, you can sell any player at any time. There are no add/drop/trade deadlines like traditional fantasy sports.
How do I compete against other traders?
By entering fantasy challenges. You have the option of entering public challenges where you can compete against other members of the PROTRADE community for cash and prizes OR you can create private challenges and invite your friends. Can I use US$ to buy more PROTRADE Dollars (PT$)?
No. There are many ways to earn PROTRADE Dollars, such as trading well, competing in fantasy challenges, and referring your friends to PROTRADE.
